Well it's been a while, lots of things going on a lotmwith family, my step niece fromk he'll is now in a secure unit so hopefully shenwill get the help she needs, also babysitting her brothers well helping my mum too lol

Fibromyalgia is going along now on pain patches which seam too work, and trying to sew more, but noŵ trying to sort out the small prob, knee / hip probs, hearing probs and now waiting to check a mole and that's just me lol

Any how started Christmas sewing so far 2 nephew door sighs and a cousin art work so pics up soon, all moved into cabin so hofully get in there more when thenrain stops or I remember to use it lol

I rubbish at writing i even forget to write what ive been doing in a diary, guess this might not be for me.

Anyhow, cabin been delivered hopefully brother building it next weekend, went on a meet up from a bloke off the net, went rather bad as he did not speak far to shy for me, drove me crazy trying to think of what questions to ask, fibro brain didn't help, then his face when I said power chair was a picture lol

So i'm thinking its just going to be my and my dog with sewing to keep me happy, men are just too much hassle lol

Great headache for 2 days and feel sick, the flare just get worse.

But got Chair delivered today and par of the cabin, now of to my adorable nephew for lots of huggles and i'm sure a few games on the wii, luckily having experienced a headache for over a year long constantly in the past I can cope with them for a few hours with one :D However it then will be bed for the rest of the week me thinks, as they are both staying on sat night arghhhhhhh

Still in a flare up, very tried and in pain, still trying to do some things, but as my mother went away on her break i got worse, and shes away again so that doesn't help. Least today I remembered to have breakfast. Bit annoyed as my shoulder isn't getting any better and i really want to do some sewing, bu it will just make it worse, so i need to call my physio thing is too remember to do it, i've been meaning to call up my gp for the last 10 days and keep forgetting.

Good news is i got a new mouse with a rolla ball, so that should help, also meet some 4rd cousins from a branch of my family tree.

Log cabin is being delivered next week, along with my comfy chair, so now just have to wait for my brother to build it, then i will be able to lay house, well cabin, I will put photos up.

Right wave of fatigue is hitting so off i plood/drag

It taken me all day to sor oy my bag lineing and the out side of it, i think a normalton would have done it in an hour lol I've also had a good nap as I have over done it, so trying to rest, as tomorrow is meant to be nice and I need to work out the outline for my log cabin in the garden.

I also did the quiz in the newspaper for your joint age, i'm 61 to 70 eek

What a Weekend

WEll I have been a busy bunny. Mother has allowed me to get a little log cabin, for my sewing and my own space, as i'm unable to move out, So we have benn looking at them and working out where to put it, needless to say i've spent the last 2 days clearing and sorting out the land. Basicly I have over done it, shoulders and hips aren't happy, sleeping wasn't fun, but back is good pain killers and heat are heplping. However I don't feel as bad as I thought I would and its great to feel alive. I want to spend some time enjoying myself doing what I want, also testing how much I can do, before I look for work. Plus with the lack of job who wants a person who faints and has brain fog, thats on my good days.

I know its been a few day, better than a year though lol.

So quick life update :

London, had a fantastic time with my brother he pushed me all around the back streets of London tryng to find places he loves to go. He too me to a fab rsturant that had the most amazing food, which will now be my birthday place, i will also be marrried there however a man is needed for that lol WE go on great both agreed on plans with in seconds. Ideal home show wasn't that great for what I wanted. My brother now hates curbs and people who get in the way he was tempted to get peoples ankles at times lol i nearly pressed for the automatic door to open once with someone leaning against it but thought i should warn her, my brother say why lol. We even saw the bloke who does channel 4 news in the back of a car reading the paper. On friday we hit westfield and he got a camera i was a good girl i saved my pennies.

So on Saturday erm what did i do erm *clock sound for thinking time*
Oh yeah I was mean to rest but I was awaken at 6 am in pain so I got up, my was mum planning to go to my other brothers for the day, she was worried about having a coughing fit while driving, so I drove he there. I then went with my brother and mum and nephew to the shops I went to B&Q and got some wallpater and things for crafty ideas. Then we went back and the rest of them when to a garden center I stayed and had a nice sleep and break from my annoying borther who does my head in lol

Sunday I can't remeber think i just chilled out. and Yesurday I slept and then took my mum to the Drs and then for an x-ray.

So I am amzaised I can walk as driving normally sets of my knees and hips, so my new car with hand controls is working. I am in pain with my mouth and fibro and sidefects of the pain killers but that will improve.

My plan today is to hoever out the car, stop it smelling from when Megan was car sick yesturday and make a to do list.

Here is one of my chickens trying to escape, she thought twice when she saw Megan running towards her !

I'm off to London to the Idea home show today, going with my brother and staying the night, which reminds me of ear plugs !, then on Firday just planning to look aound London for a bit. Yesturday I have to ring the train company to organise ramps to get on the train, another hurdle for the disabled you have to plan it down on the excect min, eventhough I explanined I have no idea what time I would be comming back on the train, so I just said 2pm, I bet I will get a grumpy old man complaining when I arrive ealier or later depending on the day i'm having grrrr. Luckily my brother can just lift the chair if needed and I cn jump out but then you get all the looks of 'oh look she can walk' lol

I've also started to qult the quilt i started months ago, after hand sewing numours hexangans together I am not putting it all together, so far so go just need to work out the edging I am going to do.

Sceens like this really help when you wake up at 7 am with hip pain and neck ache. I am so lucky to live where I do.

I'm off to London tomorrow to the Ideal home show with my brother, I think he will have a shock how life can be with a wheelchair user, i'm lucky enough to only need a wheelchair for long distances and if i'm out all day. So today will be full of sorting out what to take as were staying the night, going to London for day trips is not on the plan for some time I think, also I have to phone the railway to say I need help to get on the train. I think I will try and look at my family tree too as some 3/4th cousin has got back in touch so I need to refresh my brain.

Well after waking up at 11 am with no help from medication, I have rested most of the morning.
Today is a good day as I have just pre booked a cruise to NY and Canada for Next year, I will find out if I have got a disabled cabin on the 2rd of April, I have been wanting to do this cruise for 10 years now and its the first time I can book it as I know I won't be working, as in past years I was working in school and this cruise is always in Sept, also I will be well enough to actually enjoy it. I can't wait to be zomming around central park in my chair and i might even run over a famous person lol
I have been to NY 3 times before so I have done most of the things I wanted too appart form the Statue of Libery so that will be on the to do list, then I will be a ride around taking in the sights and sounds of NYC

Wow Nov 2009 time has gone fast i thought it was about 6 months or so i started this thing, ust shows how off track fibro takes you.
Now im nota believer in new years resultions i believer you can start new things chane your life, get mor ogranised etc anytime of the year. But I do believe sometimes you have to ait till things have past to change / star new things.

Anyone with fibro knows your brain fog makes you change subjects mid sentince, pacing can be a nightmere to get used to and in my case start ! So I am going to try and get blogging to see if that helps, however with pacing means not too much time sat at computer lol

For you non fibro peeps who read this i know i am hopping all over the page here its just my mental rablings, i have a very busy mind that never stops working mianily because of fibro i move like a snail and lucky if i can do 2 diffrent things in a day !
Currently whats going on in my mind is this 9this is just a small cros section)
1. i really should go down stairs to take my mes, however i'm doing this at the mo, and if i stop now it be another year till i write again !
2. why can't my blog look cool like other peoples ?
3. I will try and get my craft ideas on here too
4. need to pack for london on thursday
5. oh need to sort out phone call train man so i can get on train in wheelchair !
6. need to get dressed
7. oh i want to carry on sewing my dogys, nephews starts, make a bag for my sis in law
8. family tree needs looking at
9.got sitting her hurts my neck
10. physio really need to get back to swimming

13. its my mums b-day today must find card to give to her eventho she gave it to me last night !!!

I knw my spelling is rubish in this but 1. i am half a sleep, 2 fibro fog, 3 i am in pain, and 4 i am on some strong drugs after my op !

Swimming yes I did it I managed to have a nice 25 mins in the pool doing star jumps and other jumps lol was breathless and dizzy but was fun my physio said i did great and said rest today, so i am , i can hardly move lol achey and fainting alot ! told my mum i'm never going again she just said your going next week lol
Only bad thing was it wasn't very warm, so i'm going to use a top thingy my physio has and if that works get my own, might get bottoms too least is a christmas presnt idea for someone lol

What a week

Well haven't updated this in a while kinda been crashed out so tired. Pain is not so bad but I am finding sleeping so hard, least last night i only woke up every hour not every 10 mins. I fall back to a deep sleep but the wake up with a start. Listing to a relaxing cd helps a lot too, i really need to start doing it during the day, i need to organise myself but its hard know how i am going to feel each day, as today i'm just tired but yesterday i felt really unwell and was fainting constantly !

Next week will be a big week as i'm going swimming for the first time in year, one to one with my physio so it will be gentle movements.

I am keeping up with my daily wii however my wii fit ages changes daily lol

Well better try and do something worthwile for 5 mins !

Clocks

Oh i hate it when the clocks change i get so confused.

think i slept okay once i eventually got off, did have some strange dreams though !

Took megs for a long walk in my powerchair, it was nice to get out in the sunshine and fresh air, really tired though and pain is hovering in and out.

Busy and Tired

Well short update today, too tired and i can't remeber much the joys of fibro fog lol

In constant pain at the moment so might need to up one of my drugs which has helped over the last few months.
Yesturday i went to m&s used a wheelchair enjoyed it but it warn me out, vcame home and rested the gave megs a bath as she had been in a very funny smelly bush lol

TOday i tidyed a bit and had to give megs another bath as she came in covered head to toe in mud !
Pain all the time again and cramp in my leg leg and hip,also headche on right side, and down the neck so not sure if its a drug rebound headache or to do with me neck

Cold Grey day

So Last night was better than the last but I woke up many times in pain, mainly from flu jab, but did find it hard to turn over. Also had really bad tinnitus :(
This morning had headache and felt sick but i think thats due to one of my drugs.
Today I have done one thing on my to do list, (print of my charts to keep logs of what I do and pain) not sure what to do next arms and legs are not great today so I might just try and tidy up a little bit on and off during the day.
Oh just remembered I have really painful sides if i put my hand on my hips that area so I better drink a bit more might be my kidneys

Well extra painkiller helped a bit but it still was a more painful day than normal, did managed to get out to take megs into the field.
Had a nap too obviously needed it, but hope it doesn't effect my sleep tonight. Least i've rested for tomorrow, going to a shop with a firend :)

Haven't fancied anything to eat have managed little snacks so off to have something better

Well been in pain all didn't take extra meds until 8pm.
Had flu jab today and my arm is killing :(

Pain ~ mainly in back, neck too

Legs and arms painful to use from the start of the day.

Did managed to get to shops for a few things, took Megs in the field for 20 mins, and did Wii for 10 mins max

Ok so I will add to this bit by bit as its not a good Fibro day today!

I'm 29 and I live in the UK. I still live with my mum as she is my main carer and I can't really live on my own at the moment.
I had to give up my job as a Teaching Assistant.
I have a dog called Megan and she is great, a big handful but I wouldn't change her for the world, she is small enough to give the best cuddles.

Most of this blog will be my personal use but also to keep records of useful info i find online
